Ballistol Universal Oil lubricates, cares for, cleans and protects against corrosion without gumming. It has extremely high creep capability and good sliding properties. The oil has been made in Germany with an unchanged formula since 1904. With 75 ml of contents, the special edition holds 50 % more than the 50 ml spray can. The compact can fits in any pocket and is suitable for the workshop, garden and on the go.
Use in Firearm Care
In firearm care, the oil creeps into the finest cracks, removes powder residue as well as lead, copper and gilding metal (tombac) deposits and dissolves resins from unsuitable oils. Being slightly alkaline, it neutralizes acidic combustion residue and hand perspiration. It can also be used to clean, care for and preserve stock wood and leather. For muzzleloaders, it serves as patch lube.
Versatile Applications
Ballistol can be used as a rust protection, penetrating or contact oil, as a rust remover and as a care and cleaning agent, for example in workshops and trades, on cars, motorcycles and bicycles, in the household and garden, for fishing, camping and outdoor activities. It is suitable for wood, leather (except suede), stainless steel, iron, chrome, non-ferrous metals, oil-resistant rubber and oil-resistant plastics. The oil emulsifies in water and can be used from -10 to approx. +100 °C.
Purity and Food Contact
The base oil is of medical-grade purity and free of chlorinated hydrocarbons. Ballistol is skin-compatible, food-safe and also suitable for maintaining machines and equipment in the food and beverage industry where product contact may occur.

Nicht durchstechen oder verbrennen, auch nicht nach Gebrauch. Bei Brand: Wasser zum Löschen verwenden. Vor Sonnenbestrahlung schützen. Nicht Temperaturen über 50 °C/122 °F aussetzen. Inhalt/Behälter der Entsorgung gemäß den örtlichen / nationalen / internationalen Vorschriften zuführen.
