Step 1: Mount the Metal brackets to the inside of the Tube.
Put 3 short screws through each bracket and the Tube from inside to the outside
From the outside add washers and nuts tighten them using the hex key.
Step 2: Assembly of the media separator unit
Open the cage by pulling both of the black hooks at the same time.
Insert the Rod with the Handle either on the right or left side depending on if you are right or left handed.
We suggest to install the handle in the lower position, so it is out of the way when you insert the Media and the cases.
Put the two long screws through the rod and the lower part of the cage.
Secure the screws with the remaining washer and nuts.
Usage:
- Turn the media separator unit in that way that you see the two black hooks with the opening facing down in front of you.
- Lift the unit slightly and move it ~1cm towards the side with the handle, one of the two locking pins should lock into the metal bracket on the tube.
- Pull both black hooks at the same time and open the media separator unit
- Insert the media and cases into the lower part of the cage.
- Close the media separator unit and make sure both hooks did snap in.
- Move the unit ~1cm away from the Bracket on the handle side to unlock the locking pin from the bracket.
- Use the handle to turn the media separator unit slowly, alternating directions, if you start to fast you will lose some of the cleaning media.
- When no Media is coming out of the media separator unit, secure it like in step 2
- Open the Unit like in Step 3 and check if the cases are free of media.
- If there is still media left in the cases repeat process.
- Remove the clean Cases from the media separator unit and return the media into your storage container or tumbler.
