SordinHEAR2™ Audio Profiles

The hearing protector features four pre-configured audio profiles for different applications. “Hunting” provides natural sound reproduction with speech clarity—ideal for hunting. “Shooting” offers reduced gain and a narrower frequency range, suitable for shooting ranges. “Focus” enhances situational awareness in environments like elevated blinds. In “Comms” mode, ambient sound is disabled, but the 3.5 mm AUX input allows clear communication even in noisy settings.

Comfort and Operation

Soft silicone gel ear cushions offer high comfort, especially for glasses wearers, and ensure effective noise sealing. Users can choose between leather or fabric headbands. The integrated LED light supports work in low-light conditions. With automatic shut-off after 4 hours and a battery life of up to 400 hours, the headset is ideal for extended use.

Note on SNR Rating

Due to a new test standard, newly manufactured units carry a higher SNR rating. All units are technically identical and provide the same level of noise reduction—regardless of production date. The stated SNR value already reflects the updated standard.
